The Best Place to Stay "STAYOK"

We live there in StayOK in Maasstricht. I recommend for budget travels.

Unique Quality: The place is unique situated in the famous river bank Maas. The Maas river is seperated from the another river Rhine.

Maastricht's new hostel

I visited this hostel to check it out for future visits. It is really really nice. I bought a phone card and used the phone to call Germany and used the internet. The bar is very nice and they have a nice fast food type food counter. I had fries, ,good! The bartender was very nice and there are tons of places to sit. The deck is on the river and is gorgeous too. I noticed alot of older (60ish) people drinking in the bar area. The bartender says there are lots of them there. It's a little too expensive for the backpacker but just right for the older crowd he says.

Unique Quality: Conveniency conveniency conveniency! Great view, great service, clean, new, nice.

Best Budget Stay

Recently opened, a brand new hostel in the city centre of Maastricht. Stayokay Maastricht is ideally situated on the west bank of the Maas in the heart of Maastricht.
A funky new place from where you can start your journey on to just about anywhere. The huge trees incorporated in the building are intriguing. The hostel features spacious rooms, extensive conference facilities, and a brilliant waterside terrace.
I just went there to have a beer on the great terrace but already a hangout for locals and travellers.

Unique Quality: It has excellent views of the city and it's skyline. (Just look at my homepage picture)
It has a huge terrace with a little dock for your boat or where you can lay a towel to sunbathe and have a great view overlooking the Meusse river. Great sunsets! :-)
Located at the city park. They even provide you with a BBQ and let you do your own at the terrace!
Close to restaurants, bars, mainly everything!
