And now for something completely different
You will find this hotel is completely different from the other, somewhat oldfashioned, hotels in Valkenburg. The hotel is managed by Leo and Ton (hence the hotelname). The made it a special place to stay. The colours they used to brighten the place up are great. But the effort they put in the small details is just amazing. The welcome was very friendly and we felt right at home.
The hotel has no restaurant, but they serve an excellent breakfast.
As they are only with two the reception is open from 8 to 8. But you will get your own key to enter after that time.
Unique Quality: You can't see all the details here in one visit. See the colourfull bathroom picture to get the idea.
But at breakfast, we were treated not only to great food but also to a excellent sight. The eggs were served in special holders, like a penguin on skis or another animal on skeelers. The coffe and tea was served in pots we had only seen in fairytales before. There was a bowl full of colourful fresh fruits and breads were freshly baked in the oven.
There is free wireless internet connection in every room.
Also free parking for one car per room.
A senseo coffe and tea maker is found in every room, with coffeepads and teapads substituted every day.
Our verdict:
A great place for little money (in 2007 only 70 euro per night). A defenite would come again!!
