Close to the trainstation
We stayed here for a long weekend (thursday to sunday). We got a room overlooking the trainstation, but we didn't notice much noise of the trains.
The receptionist brought us to our room, but failed to mention what time we could have breakfast, which was included. Breakfast was good though.
The key of the room also fitted a seperate door, which was officially the nightdoor, but could be used the entire day. This way we could avoid walking through reception and the restaurant, but go straight for the stairs to our room..
The rooms could have been a little bit better cleaned. And it took the staff two days to notice all the leaves in the hallway, but that was cleaned the third day.
Overall not a 4**** hotel.
Unique Quality: The location is absolutely great when you are travelling by train, just cross the street from the trainstation.
Our verdict:
Good location, but not a place we would book again. Too expensive for the service.
There are better solutions in Valkenburg.

I booked this hotel way back in October 2005 for our stay in April 2006 with the request for a room in a QUIET location, NOT facing the street. What did we get? Right, a room facing the street! Of course we refused.
Having read in reviews that bathrooms of the standard rooms are very small, I booked a luxury room. The bathroom was quite large and had a bathtub. The room itself wasn't very special and not upto standards for a luxury room in a 4* hotel. Furniture needs to be replaced as well as the bed- and bath linen.
The hotel has a private underground parking (to be paid) and a small free parking lot on the street.
Unique Quality: Breakfast was rather plain. All kinds of cereals but other than that very little choice of bread/rolls for those who don't eat cereals (me!).
There's a nice bar in the lobby with very friendly staff.
