Wonderful Bed & Breakfast on the canal

I stayed here for 5 nights and was very comfortable. The room rate was very reasonable and the facilities -- including the shared shower and toilet down the hall, in my case -- were immaculately clean. Fresh towels everyday. It has a pension-style set up where your room might be in an adjacent building and you can come and go with your own set of keys.

Unique Quality: I loved the big dutch breakfast each morning complete with a boiled egg, basket of bread, jam, cold cut meat and sliced cheese, fruit, coffee, tea, and fresh squeezed orange juice. The B&B's hostess is a great source of local knowledge and very friendly. Free wireless internet access and nice views of the canal, too.

Singelgracht B&B

Several houses overlooking the canal are this B&B. Beautifully decorated, good breakfast and very friendly, helpful owners, just a shame we could only stay for one night.
