Efteling Hotel: De Efteling's Hotel
We haven't stayed here but we have spent some good hours in the pub trying their cakes and beer, while our son played a bit at the playground.
The hotel looks very nice, with fairy tale shows arranged in the restaurants and halls. It seems that they have nice thematic rooms and the kids will be happy to play around.
Unique Quality: I hope to go there one more time and to accommodate at this hotel. What we have seen in our short “visits” is that it was ok with the service and all the personnel were very kind with everybody, especially with the kids.

NH Hoteles Waalwijk: Best option for De Efteling-NH Hotel
With the exception of the first day, when we had (as usually) problems, everything was OK with the hotel.
In the first day (I have to mention it) we've got a room with both heaters (room and bathroom) not working.
We have complained and in the second room was only a heater working, the one in the bathroom. The third room both heaters were ok, but the AC was not working :)
I was expecting to see them a bit more concerned about this but, the nice ladies at the reception, were just moving us from a room to another one, without a rictus.
Not all the rooms have AC, as they have mentioned in the hotel's site. They have ACs (some of them may work, some not) in all the rooms EXCEPTING THE ROOMS AT THE FIRST FLOOR.
So, as a conclusion, the hotel was good, with clean rooms, nice restaurant and a very good breakfast :)
I will go anytime back with pleasure. It is anyway a good hotel, perhaps the best option for Efteling.

Efteling Hotel: Where to stay
Lovely hotel, right next to the theme park - just follow the yellow footprints the elves have left, and this will take you to a special gate at the park, just for hotel guests. You will be able to get into the park 15 mins early, and you can return to the hotel throughout the day.
The breakfast at the hotel will really set you up for the day, plus Hansel & Gretel will come over & talk to your children to get them really excited about the day ahead!
Definately a lot further up my list than other over commercialised theme parks I could mention.

The Efteling Hotel: Sleeping in enchantment
Unique Quality: They have 2 or 4 people rooms and 16 suites (wonderwater suite, circus suite, northern lights suite, ...).
