Golden Tulip Hotel Central

If the restaurant/tearoom is anything to judge by, this should be an excellent hotel. No, I didn't book a room here but I come here to have lunch or tea with the famous Bossche Bollen from bakery Jan de Groot. The service is excellent and it's always full.
You can simply see by the way people work there, that the business is run flawlessly.
Golden Tulip is a good hotel chain and this hotel is very centrally located on a nice square, about 10 minutes walk from the train station (hence the name I suppose). The hotel looks quite old from the outside (and probably is), but inside you'll find the ambiance of a four-star.
It also doesn't look big outside, but it goes back a long way, probably with a back entrance in another street.

Unique Quality: On the photo, the hotel is the white building on the left.
Price € 157 per double room (2007). Have a look at their packages, though.

Directions: From the train station walk straight on, turn left when you can go no further, then 1st turn left again and then it is on your left hand. Big white building.
