Terminus
Handily placed just around the corner from the station. Hotel above a pub, rooms are small and modern, shared bathroom on each floor.
Read a review saying that rooms were cold, not the case any more, heating works very well, just one niggle, the hot water was a little inconsistent, If it runs cold, relight the pilot light on the boiler.
Simple help yourself breakfast in the morning.
Oh yeah, the bar downstairs is beer heaven, see later!

Good location and price
While in Den Bosch I stayed the Hotel Terminus, a "folk pub" that featured live folk music, a good bar and small but passable if somewhat noisy rooms (thin walls, the noise wasn't from the bar but from the adjoining rooms.) It also had one of the most immaculately kept shared-bathrooms I've ever done business in, as clean and comfortable as home.
Unique Quality: The hotel is VERY close to the train station, just around the corner and was only 25 euro a night when I stayed their in 2002. Front rooms overlook a busy part of the city, lots of people coming and going from the train station.
