The railway station & the Philips stadium
by godivar
Hello!
I would ask you, please, how can I get from the railway station to the Philips Stadium or directly from the airport to the Philips Stadium with public transport? And is there lockers in the railway station?

The Philips Stadium is really close to the train station, maybe 10 minutes on foot, or 2 stops by bus.
Or if you're coming directly from the airport, the bus that goes to the station (line 401) has a stop right at the stadium. A single ticket for the bus costs EUR 3.20 (or 4 units on the so called "strippenkaart", a card that can be used for multiple journeys).
According to the dutch railway's website, there are luggage lockers at the station, they cost EUR 3.40-5.00, depending on the size, for 24 hours.

If you are travelling from Eindhoven airport take bus 401. It stops at PSV stadium I found an article which explains exactly how to get there

I hope it is helpful. Are you going to watch PSV?

its only 5 min from the station and not worth taking a bus or a cap
when youre coming from the trains go down and then to the left and at the exit go to the right and go straight leave Piaza and Mediamrket on your right hand.
and yes there are lockers at the station, when you come from the stairs its opposite, costs 3 euro per 24 hrs
have a great time
greets from eindhoven, carin

On the travelogues of Welschap are many pictures of this great event.
We had 120.000 visitors ....wooooooo ...what a happening. The festival toke place on the Eindhoven Airport, Welschap. This is one of the things in my life i will never foget som impressive to stand on a high tower watching all this people listening to music the funny thing is u dont see many colors its all one big waving and moving brownish mass.
I used to work as the head of the backstage-bar 20 hrs. a day.
My daughter and son and also VT member Xowe and 37 other volunteers helped me running this bar. Opened 20 hrs. a day, the volunteers working in 3 shift for 8 hrs.
Many volunteers work at DOA over and over again, everybody loves it, its like a big family when we are setting up an almost complete village as well as during the event itself.
DOA still have events but under different management and lots of us quit working so did I, 1999 was the last time at Mierlo. History Dynamo OpenAir

The VVV (the Dutch Tourist Information Office) has set out a few routes for those interested. People wanting to steep themselves in a bit of culture will find all they need in Eindhoven. The city of Eindhoven has a number of museums, theatres, cinemas, libraries and last but not least the Frits Philips Music Centre Muziekcentrum Frits Philips, located in the attractive Heuvelgalerie. The Music Centre offers a full range of choice from classical music to rock concerts. There is a regional international school Regionale Internationale School for parents who want their children to have schooling in French or English
