Queens Hotel: Central Location in Eindhoven

We booked this hotel on line with Hotels.Nl and were really happy with the service. It was reasonably priced, with friendly helpful staff and clean comfortable rooms.

We arrived very very early having been up since 3am travelling and so were glad to be able to check into our rooms as they were ready.

The rooms were situated at the back of the hotel but the noise from the market square at the front of the building could still be heard during our afternoon siesta! There was a special Dutch festival going on with the obligatory trumpet cacaphone but it only lasted a couple of hours.

The breakfast was a continental affair with all the usual cheese, hard boiled egg, croissants, juice, yogurt, bread, jams marmalades etc etc very good and very filling!

Unique Quality: A very pleasant surprise was to find tea and coffee making facilities supplied in the rooms - Ive never seen that before in German, Dutch or French hotels... but it was very very welcome! (no milk or sugar though so you'll have to bring your own :))

The West Ende hotel in Helmond...

The West Ende hotel in Helmond is quite adequate. Nice rooms, good food, all you really need unless you plan to spend a lot of time in the hotel, then you should stay in Eindhoven!

Rooms for rent for students in the Netherlands, a great site site!
If u planning a stay here have a look at the site some students from the University of Eindhoven made in 2002.

Jacob Cats B&B: Wonderful B&B, calm side street near city

The Jacob Cats B&B is a very nice B&B with modern renovated rooms, including modern private bathroom with shower, TFT-TV and fast wireless internet. I also got a nice bicycle from the hosts for free (Eindhoven is a super-great place for bicycling), the hosts are a wonderful couple, Mrs. Rooymans drove me to the train and thus saved me from missing the last train. The breakfast is super-great - one of the best breakfasts I ever got. The location is directly adjecent to the city center, southwards in a nice calm side-street directly at the "Dromel" river and the "bicycle expressway" going to the south parks of Eindhoven (including the wonderful Troemelreep swimming center). One block south from the Abbe Kunstmuseum.

Unique Quality: Very nice hosts, super breakfast, mordern rooms, bicycle available, fast wireless internet
