Very nice and relaxing place to stay
Very nice and peaceful place to spend time...good location close of everything.
Nice amenities like sauna, and temperate pool.

Mandarin Plaza,one of the best hotels
The 4**** Deluxe Mandarin Park Plaza is situated in the heart of the city at walking distance of the Central Railway Station, the shopping centre and all the bars, cafés and restaurants.
Also there is a japanees, chinese and cantonees restaurant and across the street another one.
When u leave Mandarin Plaza, go to the right and walk 500 mtrs. Go right and u are on the Stratumseind, the place to be in da weekend.
The hotel is easy to reach by car.
Unique Quality: It only takes approximately 20 minutes from Eindhoven Airport or the ringroad to reach the hotel. The hotel has its own parking for up to 80 cars.
Prices are 49-300 euro.

Mandarin Park Plaza
Unique Quality: There are 3 restaurants that serve Asian specialities. The Mei Ling specializes in Asian Dishes, the Mandarin Garden in authentic Cantonese food, and the Momoyama in traditional Japanese teppanyaki and sukiyaki.
There is also a regular (eggs, toast, bacon, etc) breakfast buffet.

Park plaza/christmas market
Hi can anyone tell me is the park plaza close to things in the city centre i.e walking distance? also if anyone has any info on the christmas markets in eindhoven, what are they like and again if they are close to city centre/easy accessible.

This is a work in progress. I assume you are speaking of the Mandarin Park Plaza Hotel, and not the Parkzicht Hotel as they are 2 very different entities. If your hotel is the Mandarin Park Plaza, they do have a site on the web. The hotel does seem to be well located. I'm still working on the Christmas Market. I can find some info, but it isn't helpful. Gary

Saturday 15 december 16-22 hrs
Sunday 16 december 10-16 hrs
50 stalls and various choirs performing.
Location: Sterkenburg 616 (that's just outside Eindhoven (southwest), direction Veldhoven, not walkable, take a bus)
Christmas flea market
Sunday 23 december 9-16 hrs
80 stalls
Location: Ardechelaan (north of the city center, not walkable, take a bus)

NOT Correct! its in Eindhoven, district Genderbeemd, by foot 30 min or take bus 10 min from the station.
Park Plaze is 3 min walk to the Catharinaplein where the Christmas Market will be held for the first time.
Just walk out the hotel go to the right and go the first street to the right called Stratumseind at the end of this street will be the Christmas market and the Catharinachruch, cant miss it
