Nice Hotel in a great location
Very nice rooms with very friendly staff. Walking distance to the train station and centre of town. Close to restuarants and the pubs. Excellent breakfast.....nice lounge

Sleeping under the (5) Stars
This surely is a top class hotel.
I needed to come to Eindhoven, in order to follow a computer training (Framemaker = a kind of deskpublishing program) in the Main office of my compagny.
So the main office VDL, booked a room for me in this hotel.
It was a great experience to sleep in this five star hotel (I must tell you that I am not used to that).
This Dorint Sofitel Cocagne Hotel is located in the city centre of Eindhoven.
Distances :
- from the highway A2/A67 : 2 km
- from Eindhoven airport : 8,5 km
- from Amsterdam airport : 125 km
- from Raiwaystation : 0,5 km
They have their own parkinggarage : price 23 euro for a day.

Best cathedral views
Really nice hotel, with excellent breakfast. Location is nice - very close to city discos and bars & churches.
Unique Quality: Close to big cathedrals, with nice views of ornate steeples. Short walk to dining & nightlife. Very friendly staff.

Dorint Cocagne *****
Seeing catnl's excellent Eindhoven page, I remembered I had an accomodation tip to add.
Dorinth is an excellent hotel, but very businesslike.
The rooms are huge, modernly and agreably designed with everything you can wish for, including coffee and teamaking facilities (this is not common in Dutch hotels) and bathrobes.
There is a walk in dressing area with plenty of room, which I liked very much.
In the morning you get a newspaper.
Breakfast is wonderful! A great buffet which stands out in quality.

Unique Quality: One unique quality we found less sympathetic:
the minibar is an electronic device. You cannot put your own stuff in, but it is filled to the hilt with all sorts of drinks. However, if you take a bottle out, even if you only want to look at it, it is recorded at reception desk.
We found this quite unnecessary and unfriendly as they have our creditcard number anyway!
There is also private parking ( €20 per 24 hrs)

Pullman Eindhoven Cocagne
I think this is one of the best hotel to stay at Eindhoven.
Brasserie Bruegel at the Dorint has the best applecake in the netherlands 10 points!!!!!

Dorint is located right in the center, opposite the Heuvelgalerie
I stayed here at the bridal suite just for fun on queensday, when PSV became national champion.
Unique Quality: Fantastic service, there is a restaurant downstairs but u can also order roomservice, and thats what we did, a waiter served a great dinner and in the morning a champagne breakfast:-))))
In the suite we had a yacuzzi...very relaxing.
Its great to have some luxury once in while.
Turkish steambath, sauna, swimmingpool, whirlpool and fitness room are available.
everything u want is here.
Ur across the shoppingarea called Heuvelgalery, the main Postoffice, the Stratumseind and the Marketsquare is on walking distance.
