Hello
I'm about to travel to Tilburg to the Festival Mundial in Leijpark.
I will be arriving at Amsterdam Airport and I have no clue of how to get from the Airport to the Festival Mundial in Leijpark in Tilburg.
If anyone can help I would really appreciate it!!

It's about 2 to 2.5 hours with public transport.

At the Schiphol Plaza Train Ticket Office by a single fare train ticket to Best.
Additional you can by a 15 strips "Strippenkaart" there as well (you need that on the bus later on).
Take an Intercity train in the direction of Eindhoven and exit at the Best station. Traveltime 1.23 hr.
At the Best station take the Velolia bus 142 (10 strips) in the direction of Tilburg and exit at the Broekhoven busstop at Tilburg. Travel time 45 minutes.
From there it's a 10 minutes walk to the Leijpark.

Every year The inhabitants from Tilburg and the surroundings are waiting for their moment. The "Tilburgse kermis" (Tilburg Fair). As they tell us always it's the biggest in the Benelux. There is a mile of all kind of attractions through the city centre and the newest and wildest things can be seen and be 'tasted'. Many people visit these 9 days in july. If you're there in july, don't miss it. You will love it, even if you only come to watch

July 22nd. 'Roze Maandag'meaning Pink Monday.
Tomorrow start the Roze Maandag again, its a yearly event specially for gay people very interesting and a lot of fun, travestite acts and fundraising for aids.
Wuppies are sold for this cause look at the pictire below.
This year the theme is: celebrate together, hetero and gay.
This fair is a mix with fantastic attractions and an art-manifest.

I lived there for a while; it's a town that looks unfriendly but the people are (generally) hospitable.
Go into the town centre and visit some bars..... 'De bokkerijder' an Inn/ cafe in the forrest (direction) Belgium) Sit outside in the sun, drink a belgium beer and enjoy...... You'll know what I mean!
