Service With A Snarl

This is by far the worst hotel that I have every had the misfortune to stay in. Upon arrival at around 1.30pm, we were informed that our room would not be ready until 2pm. Furthermore, this is 'a business hotel, and we expect you to act accordingly'. Which seemed a little presumptious, especially as this was also a business hotel whose computers do not work should you require the use of the one they've 'lovingly' provided in reception, and who apparently think that it is acceptable to not allow you access to your room for a further hour after check in time (and the time that they told you on arrival), with no word of apology, and who, for reasons best known to themselves, decide to tell the taxi driver taking you to the nearest city that they should get payment from you in advance.

The following day, they decided to empty the breakfast room at 9.55am, and eject those finishing off their cups of tea, on the basis that they close at 10am.

Finally, this is no more a four star hotel than your average travelodge.

Simply appalling.

Unique Quality: Unpleasant and uncharacteristically rude staff.
