The most beautiful part of this city is the canals and their reflections of this old city and the many who have walked the streets before. I found that the relics were even noticeable in the pavement. Going down an alleyway either gave you an Indiana Jones feeling or the more Trainspotting effect.Being with close friends and getting to laugh at the way the Dutch live, but enjoying their customs without making fun of them. I found that having more than one person from home with you got the job done when it came to making plans.
