When we traveled with our friends, they made the hotel reservations. We were quite happy. Our room was comfortable and the location was superb, right near a metro stop and the Rembrandtplein. The breakfast was wonderful with so many options. The staff wasn't bending over backwards to be friendly, but they were efficient.

Downside, there are bars across the canal and down the street. It was very warm while we were there. The hotel has no airconditioning, so we were faced with a choice, sweat with the windows closed, or try and sleep with the club music blaring.
