A lot of cheap B&B's in Amsterdam

Getting a cheap B&B shouldnt be a problem in Amsterdam. Enough to choose from. Check this site for example http://www.bb-holland.nl/index.php/en/accommodation/Noord-Holland/AMSTERDAM/search_page.html

I've had a lot of good experiences! If you dont need the luxury of a hotel B&B's are a great and affordable way to stay in Amsterdam. Usually its also a great load of fun to stay in some of the impressive old buildings!

Have a nice trip! Good luck!

Unique Quality: Great old buildings, right in the center of the city! Good service!

b&b amsterdam

I stayed in the " Bed & Breakfast Amsterdam" Sloterkade 65-1 - 1058 HH which lies on the Schinkel canal, opposite the antrance to vondelpark. I really recomend this B&B, the welcome was really warm, & the place is spotless. At the time of my stay which was jul 2006 they didn`t accept payment by card, it was cash only! & non smoking

GETTING THERE:- from outside A`dam central railway station, get tram line 1 untill OVERTOOMSE SLUIS cross the canal, & turn left, facing the bridge, there is a bar & the B&B is next door but one.
Aternatively, it is only 15min away from the airport by car, on the A10 ring road

RATES:- average double room per night = 85euros not per person

Unique Quality: The B&B is a 2min walk from the beutifull Vondell park, this is well worth exploring, & if you walk straight through the park, the " Roemer Visscherstraat" exit will lead you to Liedseplien which is where most of the action is in the evening. This is the place for bars & restaurants & just chilling out!
