Hotel Bema
We stayed in a small inexpensive hotel - Hotel Bema - near Rijksmuseum. The price for a room was 65 Euros per night and I would recommend this place. The rooms were a reasonable size, clean, though toilet and shower facilities were shared. The price included breakfast each morning and we also had a TV in the room. The area was safe, though it was a bit of a walk from the centre.

Amsterdam accomodation
Hi everyone,
Has anyone ever stayed in Hotel Bema in Amsterdam? We're about to book this hotel for a 4 day trip, and while it's a great price and sounds nice, I'd love to hear from someone who has stayed there or knows of it.

Never stayed there, but it looks a nice small hotel (8 rooms), next to the great museums and a direct public bus connection to Schiphol Airport (line 197). Not bad at all.

That bus info is very useful as we had intended taking train to Centraal Station and then kaming our way to the hotel.
