BASIC NO FRILLS
Situated near Central Station. Convenient for trains,trams, buses. Very basic en-suite accomodation with no TV. Turkish owners, clean and tidy but in need of update.
plenty of rooms but very steep staircase and narrow corridors - no good for elderly or disabled people. One of cheapest hotels in Amsterdam and serves its purpose for short stay and bed for night/s.
Unique Quality: Cheap, excellent locatiion for transport links. Basic but serves purpose for short stay.

hi ppl :D
alas i manage to get a place to stay in the following 2 locations...would like to hear some feedbacks on thm if u have stayed ther b4 or heard anythin etc etc . feel free to rest!!

- so far things i have read about this hostel has been positive and the rooms on website look fine too.
Beurstraat Hotel & Hotel Ben
-will be stayin in beurstraat on a private room. there was mix feedback regarding this. but one was stating that the manager of the hotel stole his wallet and passport!!!
Q : is it safe to keep pasport and valuables with the management oh hotels in amsterdam???

Stayokay has private lockers (No management involvement). I would never leave my passport with any management. Passport normally are the property of the government of your country and you are personal responsable for the document (read the fine print!).
