Hotel Beursstraat, it is advertise as simple and clean.
I can tell you that it was simple, we took two bedrooms with four beds and a bathroom, and thats it, but if I have to confirm that it was clean???.
Well, the best is that is reasonable price, well situated, and if you are lucky you can get a room facing all the coffeshops and on the other side the clock sounds every quater an hour! great experience

Hope someone can help me. Am looking for a triple room in a good, central 3* hotel for a couple of nights in November. I've got an ok rate at the Avenue, which seems to be ok and it's got fairly good reviews on tripadvisor - does anyone know anything about this hotel? Any first hand experience?

Hello all, after a long and expensive trip to Cannes this May, I shall be making my way to Amsterdam to unwind and take in the city but have only 2 nights (3 full days) to spare i.e. May 20 to May 22. Thus said, am looking for the cheapest hotel for a single room ensuite, and budget is around US$50 or below, but not more. Yes, it's pathetic but as I look forward to my trip there, I just can't afford to pay more than the stipulated amount. Also, not into hostels. Please help anybody.

It's $77 a night, includes tax and breakfast.
Thanks all for the info. Yes will up my budget a little. Any other suggestions on a cheap trip would be much appreciated. Thanks again.
Oh by the way, will be travelling alone. Meals not a problem as have been accustomed to buying bread, cheese and tomatoes from the supermarket for a snack.
