Since the centre of Amsterdam is full of hotels the central location is not a unique quality. One thing I saw on the hotel website were the two words "gay friendly" but I did not take special attention to it because many Amsterdam hotels write it and we were happy to be accepted here as hetero couple but latest at the first breakfast we noticed that we were a clear minority... The exact description would be more gay than friendly
The room contained all what must be in a 2-star hotel but all at the absolute minimum. The table for example was not bigger than the phone plus the guidebook and two digital cameras. And only at one side of the double bed was something like a bedside table.
The breakfast was definitely not the excellent quality I found in other Dutch hotels earlier.
