DONT EVEN BOTHER LOOKING ABOUT IT. 5 minutes away from Dam Square...we were told on the net it will be a Double Deluxe Room with Balcony for 110 Euros a night. All excited we booked up. After a steep climb at the beginning of the hotel which I knew existed, we were taken to our room. I say there wasn't enough space to even sleep forget keeping our bags which were kept in the dirty balcony. DONOT STAY HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. We moved to NH Kranspolsky the next day after paying 165 euros as they had decided to charge us for next day also...so, I negotiated for half day price.

Spent 3 nights here, payed the extra 15 Euro for the terrace/balcony, it was well worth the extra money, spent most of my time on the balcony puffing up and watching the street. The church where Rembrant is buried is to the left, the Winter palace is to the right. The room was very small, the stairway very steep, but I guess that is a European thing. They have a cat Kikoo who wanders the hotel, thought that was really cool. The people there were wonderful. The price was great.
Close to Barneys Breakfast Cafe, A breakfast/hash bar. Great place to begin your day. A tried the Laughing Budda, and trhe English breakfast, two thumbs up on both!!!
