Cheap, comfortable accommodation
A few years ago I stayed at the hotel Groenhof in Vondelstraat together with some friends. I had come on a stag weekend by accident, and to save costs I was sharing a room with a friend.
The hotel is quite basic, but the staff are friendly and the accommodation is very cheap. I just checked at random and a single room seems to be around €45, and a double room about €59 per night. The hotel is a little out of the center (although in a safe and pleasant location, only 5 minutes from Leidsplein).
Unique Quality: Cheap, clean and comfortable.
