The rooms are large and upscale with very comfortable beds and nicely decorated. Our room faced the Prinsengracht Canal and was on the highest floor. I would request this room again when we return. The area is very nice and we prefer this location much better than being closer to the city center.
Directions: Hotel is situated betwwwn two famous canals the Prinsengracht and the Keizersgracht in the old Amsterdam City Center where famouse museums are like the Van Gogh Museum, Anne Frank House, The Historical Museum, the Stedelijke Museum and the Dam Palace.

I have stayed at Pulitzer 2004/2005 new years period for 4 nights. It is a great hotel centrally located walking distance to most of the centers of Amsterdam. Rooms are different from each other so this will make me go and stay there again (change is always good).
Breakfast is amazing at the other corner of the hotel. For those of you don't know Pulitzer is an island of buildings inside these buildings there is a garden and corridors to connect each building and rooms. There is a nice fireplace at the lobby. You may run in to some celebrities.

This hotel is a group of canal houses that have been connected. Great location. Very nice furnishings and the room I had was very large and nicely appointed. Had a very large bath room and a very large tub (even by Europe standards) Staff was very helpful and friendly. Not inexpensive but I would recommend this hotel.
Charming canal houses form this hotel. God location on canal.

We had a wonderful stay at The Pulitzer. The hotel is well appointed and in an excellent location. The rooms were spacious and yet warm and the staff were very accomodating. I would certainly recommend the hotel, but not the airport shuttle bus that services it. Much easier to train it to the station and then catch a cab from the Terminal to the hotel.
The hotel is actually a number of houses joined together in a unique merging of stairwells and corridors. Not your typical Sheraton hotel, it is tastefully decorated.
