    This is definitely a small but unique boutique hotel. The owner, Carol is a trendy lady and she decorates this place like she's creating her own personal space. The rooms are absolutely beautiful. They have different sizes. It all depends to what you want. It's also in one of the old Dutch buildings. You get to feel the atmosphere of a Dutch home. They have a beautiful garden at the back and the location is in the Leidseplein area, just behind Marriott Hotel. The price is a little expensive for a small privately owned hotel. It's almost the same rate as a 5 star, like the Marriott.

    Beautiful rooms. Well decorated.

    • Stopped here on a business trip, but it would be ideal for a weekend stay, as it's near the major the major sights and night life but quiet enough to be relaxing.

    The basement resturant was a nice place to have breakfast.

    Staff were friendly and helpful.

    I choosed this place on internet, by random and I was really lucky! It is a 4 star hotel located next to Concertgebouw, the Museumplein with the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum, the Stedelijk Museum and the P.C. Hooftstraat where are located the most exclusive shops of Amsterdam. The Leidseplein is closer to the hotel. Rooms are very cozy and the staff very much efficient!!!

    Stayed at this hotel in January 2004. The hotel (as many Amsterdam ones do) comprises of houses joined together. We were a couple of houses down from the reception and you did have to walk outside to get to it.

    The location is at the top of the Vondel Park and about a 15 minute walk to the Dam Square.

    Highly recommend this hotel, especially if you want a nice (but not too expensive) place to stay that isn't loud or crowded, but still fun.

    Scenic views, located close to Vondelpark and plenty of museums. Lovely room, close to transportation, great service. We ordered one "English breakfast" from room service and it was so much food, we ate it for days afterward (a much better deal than the daily breakfast served in the common room each morning).
