Luxury on the canal
This is an absolutely beautiful hotel in a perfect position with all the amenities and more. It is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. And yes there is free wifi and an i pad available as well.
And how nice was the concierge on duty for our stay? So helpful and obliging.
Casual dining is available right on the canal in the Hoofdstad Brasserie. You sit there and watch the canal boats go by. And on our first night we had a wonderful 3 course meal special...top quality. A 'fine dining ' restaurant is also on site....and a cocktail bar with piano.
Our room is spacious and there is a BATH and a heated floor!! The bed is very comfortable I cannot wait to hop in it. Large soft pillows on a large king size bed.... and heaps of towels and a separate bath and shower. Luxury complete. And they leave a fresh bottle of water for you every day.
There is a coffee making machine would you believe! and a well stocked bar fridge. And of course a safe for your valuables.
Lauren checked out the pool but is was a wee bit small by Aussie standards.LOL!
Unique Quality: Well what a perfect orientation. We were escorted to our room and shown in detail how everything worked. I believe it is the best orientation I have ever experienced.
And the decor...well you will just have to book in yourself.
Nice to have a doorman again to help with our luggage.
Our travel agent arranged this part of our stay and she chose well. We had a 'hot' deal...4 nights stay priced at a 3 night rate...breakfast included... I do not usually let her make the final choice but we were short on time....and the web site looked good. And am I glad we came here..
By the way there is a little bell like sound to let you know someone is at door of your room....We did not know what it was at first.. But it was time to turn down our beds and make us comfortable for the night.
Directions: Right in the centre of things it seems..We look out on toone of the canals.
