a unique Amsterdam experience

I have stayed all over the city and this is my favorite. Your own houseboat in a quiet houseboat community. Located next to a large windmill about 15 minutes from the central station. The owners/hosts live in a houseboat in front of the rental boat and offer a wealth of knowledge of the city as well as added security. Shops and restaurants located a short walk away. Trams and buses the same. Fully furnished with kitchen and all utensils. Coffee and tea already in the kitchen. Why stay in a hotel when you can stay on a houseboat for the same money? Comfortable and quiet. No other tourists around.

Unique Quality: Great canal view from the windows and plenty of ducks to feed and sometimes swans. Parking is available in front for a moderate fee. Nice family atmosphere.
