Great location

The hotel was what we expected. It is a great location for seeing Amsterdam on foot or trams are only one block away.

Clean and quiet

If you want to relax,this is the place for you ,,but if you are looking for a live , noisy place ,then look for another place. Food is good and the hotel is clean

Best Location and Price

Perfect Location

It was really nice to stay in this hotel, especially in a cold January. It is in a central location. Very close to Historic Museum and Begijnhof. Whenever I felt cold or shopped a lot, I simply returned to the hotel room without interrupting my schedule.
First, we had given a room in the top floor. Room was nice but its windows are too high. (You have to jump to see outside, this high!) It was an experience to see the roofs of Amsterdam. But we wanted to change the room. Our second room was on the first floor and we see the Spuistraat from the window. And we enjoyed it.

Rooms do not have a safe case. Bathrooms were small. The staffs were helpful. And the fresh baked bread in the breakfast was extremely delicious.

An Adequate Base

I booked direct on the hotel's website as they were offering a special rate of 79 euros a night for a double room, which is very good for Amsterdam.

It's a large impersonal hotel but has all the facilities needed for a city break stay. The rooms are not particularly large and not luxurious but they have a good range of amenities and everything was spotlessly clean.

There is a handy bar on the ground floor and a restaurant, although I didn't use it. Neither did I have breakfast in the hotel because it wasn't included in the room rate, and was expensice, so I preferred to get something outside in a cafe.

The hotel is just a short walk away from Dam Square and is central for everything. I would stay there again, provided I got another good deal.

Centrally located, nice hotel

I've stayed in NH City Center for one week, nice Hotel with clean rooms and polite stuff. In a very good place not right in the center but not far away too. And good prices.

Thin walls

Hotel in Amsterdam

The flowers next to the front desk hallway were the most unforgettable scent of my visit. I still return to that hotel in hopes they will have more irises out that smell so wonderful. No luck yet, though I am still trying.

Comfortable, with a beautiful view

The hotel was all you could ask for, the accommodation was a superior room, with a double bed and canal view.

The decor was modern and the room was kept very clean.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Unique Quality: The view from the room overlooked the Singel, the innermost canal in the Grachtengordel.
