Great location and apartment but not three bedroom
We stayed at the Sfinx apartment on Nassaukade 156HS. The apartment is lovely and in a great location for trams and even walking (a fair but doable effort) to Central Station.
However there were problems. The apartment is advertised as three bedrooms but the third was, at one time, a large walk in closet. Access to this third bedroom is from the master. There were also no phone, not an unsurmountable problem but an irritation when we wanted to confirm our flights.
The matter of the third bedroom was a constant sore and accounts for the satisfaction rating below.
Unique Quality: The apartment has a nice view of the canal and is very nicely laid out inside. There is easy access to both a market and restaurants and, as noted above, you can walk less than 1/2 block and find yourself on the tram to Central Station. It is also just a few blocks from Westerkirk.
