The Times Hotel

A decent 3 star hotel in the hearth of Amsterdam. It is a 2 minute walk to the Dam Square and is situated in the quiet part of Amsterdam. This is much more like Amsterdam, and that doesn't mean all the pleasures are miles away, next door is a coffeeshop (though not that kind of shop you see around in the big tourist area's, this is more low-key).

Rooms are good, beds are great, the view I had was a very nicely painted wall. But that could just be the price. Breakfast is OK but not worth the €10,-. All rooms have a big painting on one of the walls, LCD TV and a modern bathroom.

Price I paid (well my company paid the bill) was arond €110,- per night. And this was in the week before queensday.
