An escape hotel
Looking more like a motel, quite far away from the city center (10 min walk plus a half hour by metro). Clean and quiet - what I was looking for. Free parking and good breakfast options.
It's ok if you don't mind walking along a road watching a park.
Unique Quality: Quiet and spacy, far from the city

Hotel Amsterdam
We had no idea where we were going to stay as it was all done through our travel agent and we did have some problems with her. I was so impressed with the location of this hotel. Fortunately i did not have to pay for my hotel room, do not think I would have been able to afford it! The rooms were lovely and quiet, but no view.

AC Hotel Amsterdam
Good and modern hotel just outside Amsterdam on a junction of motorways. My business too me into the center of Amsterdam but being just outside the city was no problem, either by car or public transport.
Unique Quality: The surroundings are not the quaintest but most rooms on one side of the hotel look out on fields and farms.
The rooms are good, spacious and modern. Breakfast buffet was enjoyable.
The hotel also has a restaurant and meeting rooms.
AC is a chain of motorway hotels and restaurants.
For 2003 the price for a double room is € 121. There are business/executive rooms and suites from € 130,50 to € 193,50
