Bergen has been a touristic place always due to the situation on the edge of dunes and nature.

Five kilometres to the west is Bergen aan Zee, separated from the beach and the North Sea only by a line of dunes.

In the middle of the natural beauty of the Schoorl Forestry Area and the Noord-Holland Dune Reserve.

In summer is a bathing resort

This village is recommended not only for bathing but also for surfing and catamaran sailing.
