Blokarten / Landsailing is a blast! :o)

It's a great adventure sport, I've have a blokart myself and goes a lot to the beach of Wijk aan Zee. great wide beach and just fun to do it!

To get introduced to this adventure sport, its easy to visit one of the centres in the Netherlands. You can try out sports, for example blokart sailing, kiting catamaran sailing or on the waves with a RIB-Powerboat.

Something that continues to surprise me about living in Amsterdam, is how quickly I can also leave Amsterdam and be in a place with a completely different atmosphere and feeling to it.

Wijk aan Zee is about a 20 minute drive away from Amsterdam. We went in late September and were met with long beautiful beaches that were quiet and peaceful.

"Beachcombing"

We just walked and walked and walked... picked up shells, enjoyed the wind and peacefulness.

And then it was time for a picnic lunch. Friends, the ocean, a sweet breeze. You can't ask for much more.
