Sand and surf

"Church"

There is a roundabout almost directly in the centre of town, and this city hall stands to one side. It is amazing, the detail on the exterior was just beautiful.

I was even lucky enough to witness a wedding :)

"The same Church just a little further way"

"Stormy weather..."

Well not really stormy just a windy day! This was my last day in Zandvoort and I really couldn't complain about the wind, not after the beautiful weather I had for the trip. I did get one day of rain, and the wind was enough to ruin my umbrella, but it was still fun!

"Another church..."

This church was pretty much located outside my window, ok ok.. it just seemed that way when the bells would ring, every 1/2 hour. EVERY 1/2 hour... see that?? EVERY 1/2 hour....

I knew when 3 am would hit because the bells would ring.. granted I was never late and didn't need an alarm clock :)

"Street Scene"

One of the main streets, this one here will take you to straight to the beach. I believe I bought most of my postcards from that shop to the left.

"Statue..."

Ok.. I have no idea what this statue is and if I ever make it back to Zandvoort I will find out.

But the day I took this picture is was super windy and sand and contacts don't mix very well.

"The water tower"

A very distinct tower in Zandvoort and my directional point. This is how I gauged my where abouts when wandering the streets!
