Zandvoort aan Zee is thirty-five minutes from Amsterdam and ten minutes from Haarlem. Traffic jams are a certainty on nice days and weekends and the Zandvoort train station is only a five minute walk from the sea shore. Take the train!
Trains from Amsterdam-Central station go directly to Zandvoort-aan-Zee. First class tickets are always worth the extra money in high season, as 2nd class will be packed. For detailed train schedules, rates see website www.ns.nl you can print out your itinerary before leaving home.
Only thirty-five minutes from Amsterdam and ten minutes from Haarlem, Zandvoort aan Zee is a popular (read: overcrowded) beach resort on the Noordzee.
Are their storage lockers at the train station in Haarlem and Zandvoort?

According to the Dutch part of the website, there are lockers at Haarlem, but not at Zandvoort aan Zee.
