Hotel Royal: Hotel Royal
Right on Brink, (quiet at night) the huge main square, this hotel is in an ideal place. A warm and friendly welcome in the Grand Cafe downstairs which serves as reception too and a warm and comfortable room upstairs for us. Good bufet breakfast served in the cafe. An enjoyable stay, recommended.

Camping de Worp: Campground Deventer
The Deventer campground "de Worp" is found on the west bank of the river IJssel, overlooking the old city center of Deventer. It is situated in the overflow area of the river IJssel; but you'll be safe in summer. :-) The campground provides immediate access to the fantastic Nature Reserve "Ossenwaarden."
The campground itself is very simple and has only few facilities, but the location is superb and the grass is always juicy. Good atmosphere too.
Management can be a bit... strange; but they don't mean any harm.
