When I was visiting a Belgium a found a lot of "shops" selling some used stuff called Kringwinkel - sometimes I was able to find there really nice things.
I'm just curious if in Netherlands, esspecially in Enschede you have such a shops?
and if yes, how to find them?

Thank you - it's exactly what I mean :) I will explore it when I will be in Enschede next time.
It's not true what they tell you about riding a bike, that once you learn it, you never forget... I almost got killed by the cars half a dozen times on my 10-minute ride to "downtown", almost fell to the ground about a dozen times, and had to make my friends stop to wait for me all the time. Add the cold and my hands freezing, and I still enjoyed my bike-ride!
The local Library offers relative cheap Internet Access.

The "Roombeek" area of Enschede was hit hard by the fireworks disaster of May 13, 2000. On this bright and sunny saturday 22 people were killed and almost 1000 were wounded, when a fireworks depot exploded. The blast and the fires thereafter destroyed many houses and businesses.
