Hi... this is going to sound strange... but my Mum lives in Australia now, but lived in Enschede when she was little... and I was wondering if 13 Sabang Straat still existed...That was where she lived till she was 11.
Does anyone know if there is still a house there?
Wierd question but I'm hopeful...

The Sabangstraat is still there and as far as I know all the original houses are still there too.

Wow! I can't believe it is still there - Mum is 61 now - I thought it would have been replaced with new housing. Thanx so much for that!
I will send the photo to mum to see if it looks familiar.
And if you dropped by that way... A photo of 13 would be lovely!
She mentioned a Catholic School nearby... I didn't notice one on the map... Do you know if there is one still close by (walking distance for a child)?

Not only can you park in the new underground parking facility under the Van Heekplein, but there are brandnew free (!!) toilets too. Just go to the strange tube tower, down the stairs, through the door and take a left.
Bertus Workel is a big shop with party articles, drawing and painting articles and other hobby articles.
The shop has a framing service for paintings and pictures.
The shop organizes several workshops.
