Hotel restaurant set in an old farm next to a watermill built in 1548.
In 2001, the 16th century half-timbered farm was converted to an intimate hotel/restaurant with 5 suites.
We were with 3 girls and shared one room (photo). That was hilarious. Two of us slept in the double bed and one of us on a low bed separately. The photo was made when we entered the room. After that we very quickly made a huge mess with suitcases, clothes, gifts and stuff strewn all over the place.
Unique Quality: Sleep under old oak beams in luxurious suites. Bath and separate shower, nice toiletries and other details.
The owner kindly showed us some of the suites (there are 4 plus a wedding suite).
Price per night 125-165 euro (2002)
Price per night 130-175 euro (2007)
For more info about the mill, please see the Must See Activities Tip.
Directions: Follow white signs (the Wilder = swimming pool).
Follow road (Scholtenhageweg).
After the athletics track (left) , turn left onto Watermolenweg.
Restaurant/hotel is just opposite the watermill.
