Public Toilets

Amersfoort is a town with almost no public toilets (like most Dutch cities).
The best one is the toilet in the train station main hall. Fee 50 Eurocents and there's a cleaning lady present.
On the station platforms are also toilets, but these are unmanned and look like bank vault. It's very high tech, but very low in people freindlyness. Also 50 Euro cents.
In the city some of the parking garages have toilets and otherwise the V&D department store (La Place restaurant) is there.
After closing times of the shops, it's just bars and restaurants you can visit (not just for bathroom usage).
Stadswal - City wall

The remains of the city wall along the stadsring are those of the third wall dating from the 14th century.
The first wall was an earth wall, later replaced by a stone wall. The special walking path around the city wall.
Scuba Diving

Well, i have to suggest Scuba Diving in Holland, really fascinating, even if the water is pretty dark.
If you want to do that, the ScubaSports Shop is what you need to start, from lessons to practice or just equipment rent, this is your place.
Owner is really a fantastic person, and he has a great team with him. You can rent all the necessary equipment directly to the shop, the owner is really a friendly and honest person.
Cavalry Museum

If you're interested in military history this museum is for you. The history of the Dutch cavalry is illustrated by a well-presented collection of uniforms, pictures, arms etc. Outside are several tanks and armoured vehicles, often in rather bad shape, while in the seperate Landsverk-hall (named after a Swedish armoured car) some of the more delicate of these beasts of steel are preserved under better conditions.
Location: Bernardkazerne. It's about fifteen minutes walking from the station. Go to the right.
