my girlfriend Leny lived here a few years and i visited many times, also many regions around Utrecht. Many great places to visit at Utrecht, one of them is the 'Domtower'.
Arie Abbenes is city carillonneur of Utrecht, Eindhoven, Asten and Oirschot. He teaches the carillon at the Utrecht School of the Arts (The Netherlands Carillon School). As a guest recita-list and carillon consultant he is in great demand, and his playing is featured regularly on radio and TV.

People refer to this location as Ledig Erf. One of the cafe's is indeed called 't Ledig Erf, the other is called De Poort. Both serve lunch and dinners. And you will have some difficulty spotting tourists here..
