"Renesse town."

Renesse, THE place for going out or your camping trip.
Renesse has over 15 campings to choose from. All of them near the city center with a distance of not more than 15 minutes walk.
The town lives and there is a lot of activity. Whatever the season you can enjoy lots of attractions.

"Beaches"

Renesse, with 17 km. of beaches.
At the entrance of every beach there is information about the quality of the beach.

The early Renesse was build around the picturesque little church and was therefore a so called ringvillage. In those days there were many roads to the beach. The most important one of those was the Laône. This small road went all the way to the dunes where later (1856) an iron lighthouse was build. Unfortunately this lighthouse was broken down. The lighthouse keeper lived in "Zeerust", the house below the dunes. Zeerust is still a well known house in Renesse these days.

"camping"

The camping where I spend my youth, was camping the Transparent, now better known as 't Zonnedorp.
On a 300 meter distance from the beach, and 15 min. walk from town, I had the time of my life , every summer for more than 10 years !
What more can a youngster want than disco's and beaches, (and other youngsters !!) whole summer long !!

Renesse, a small "dead" town during the winter, that comes alive during the summer. A town where the population tripples when it's summer.
A place where families can enjoy the beach and relax, elders can cycle, walk and do their stuff and teenagers can get drunk on fridaynight as well on saturdaynight, mondaynight, thues... Oops, don't think that this is a helping Renesse very much :).

Well it needs to be said. As a parent or elder, or just a person you will probably won't even notice that at night Renesse "downtown" is filled with teenagers.
