Westkapelle Lighthouses

Westkapelle has two lighthouses, a high and a low one.

When you sail on the line of sight of both lighthouses, you sail into the Oostgat waters.

The high light is located at a churchtower from 1470. This tower was rebuilt in 1818 and the light got lenses in front. The present lighthouse dates from 1906 and is located at the Zuidstraat 1 - 4361 AA Westkapelle.

The low light is the first Dutch cast iron lighthouse.
