I didn't stay in this hotel but I passed it a few times and noticed it. In my Off the Beaten Path tips I mention the Vlaming street which was so very beautiful.

**August 2005: I visited this hotel to plan a tour and talked to the owners and was shown the rooms. The hotel has a delightful typical Dutch atmosphere. The public space is like an old-fashioned Dutch living room from the 40s/50s. The owners, a couple, received us with coffee and biscuits in their 'office' annex dining/kitchen area in the back of the 'living room'.
The rooms are all different but good. Give it a try. I'm sure that even though I didn't stay there myself, you're in for a great experience.

Unique Quality: Even if I didn't stay here myself, a man was sitting on a bench in front of the hotel, probably enjoying the canal just as much as I was. He was contentedly smoking and told me he was having a great time in Delft. I guess if he'd been dissatisfied with the hotel he wouldn't have looked so happy.
