Good Accomodations for a Visit to Keukenhof
Fairly comfortable hotel easily accessible from Leiden Central Station. As such, it is a good take off point for visits to Keukenhof.
All rooms come with twin beds and en suite shower and toilet facilities. The hotel is a modern facility as such it may not have the character of older Dutch hotels but for pure functionality, it is more than adequate. Rooms come with TV, mini-bar and coffee/tea making facilities. Free access to a PC with a wireless broadband connection is available at the lobby near the reception desk.
Service is fair considering that it appears the hotel is staffed by just one person at most times and he or she does the reception work, tending to the bar and to kitchen duties as well.
Buffet breakfast has the typical Dutch breads and cold meats as well as cereals, eggs and bacon. The variety is a bit limited considering the 10 Euro per person price tag. It may be more cost effective to just have breakfast at Leiden Centraal where there is an Albert Heijn Express as well as a Burger King and a Smullers outlet which serves snacks for 1 to 2 Euro.
