Traveling from Leiden to Amsterdam and to Delft questions

I am bringing 13 university students from the US to Leiden next week. We need to travel from Leiden to Amsterdam and also from Leiden to Delft. Is there a train pass or other way to buy a pass to board the train from Leiden to these destinations on three separate days. Or, do I buy round trip tickets for each day of travel? We are looking for the most inexpensive way to do our traveling from the Leiden University where we are staying. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Travelling 2nd class with daily day return tickets is the cheapest.
There is no group discount ticket anymore :(
The only reduction if for monthly or yearly pass holder for a certain route, where the pass holder can take up to 3 people with 40% reduction. Not an option for you.
The prices for 2nd class day return tickets are:
€ 8,10 to Delft
€ 14,90 to Amsterdam Centraal

BTW these are prices at the ticket machine. At the ticket counter there's a € 0,50 surcharge.

Travel Tips for Leiden
Keukenhof

The buses are there. They even have their own spot just outside the railway station. "Keukenhof" it says, and they take them there by the busload, literally.
Though this place is only open about 9 weeks a year and charges 12 euros when I was there to get in, its continuing reputation is assured. During the next lot of tips, which I have obviously dedicated to Keukenhof, I will show you pictorial reasons why this place has a world wide reputation as perhaps the world's finest garden. Whatever's better than it would have to be spectacular.
Alternative movies

Although there are quite a few cinemas for a relatively small town, one stands out as it offers good quality, alternative films - "Kijkhuis"
In The Netherlands all films are in original language (except for some matinees with dubbed animated movies) , so you will be able to watch them Italian, Spanish, Swedish, Chinese, etc.
This is the place where you will definetly not find the latest blockbusters, but usually high-quality films.

Enjoy Leiden's pretty sceneries and history

If weather allows it, i generally take visitors on a city tour, tell them a bit about Leiden's history and depending on the level of interest, i visit 1 of Leiden's many museums. When i'm away from Leiden i miss its canals, it friendly atmosphere and my home offcourse.

It seems that Rembrandt wasn't the only talented artist in Leiden. The street artists really are talented as well. This picture for instance was taken next to Windmill De Put, in the area where rembrandt used to live.
