The reason we picked this hotel was its close location to Amsterdam (ca 30 km) and great last-minute deal. Since one of the most important things for us is facilities for kids, it is one of the few places in Amsterdam area where they do have a play-ground. Car parking was free. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. 126 standard and 24 executive rooms. Coffee and tea facilities in the room. The entrance hall was a bit out-of-date and the elevator was quite unique - we really had to push hard in order for bottons to work and be really patient while waiting the elevator doors to close and open. Our room on the other hand was a positive surprise. Although we stayed in a standard room, it had a bath, a shower, and a separate toilet. Our room was extremely clean and spaceous with lots of windows. Actually the entrance hall and the elevators didn'd match the coridores and the room of the hotel. The hotel did have a free internet connection and wifi, but there were only two computers and the connection was really-really slow. Wifi worked only in the internet room and while sitting really close to the computers, this was a bit dissapointing.
I would recommend this hotel to those travelling with children and to those who are visiting Keukenhoff, since the hotel is situated practically next to it. Lisse is a nice small village where it is great to take a walk or ride on a a bicycle (can be rented from the hotel). Paly-ground, swimmingpool and free parking-lot were the most outstanding facilities for us.
