Tulips!
by 36waterfalls
Mentioning Keukenhof, most people think Tulips! And that's right, here there are thousands of them!
Among all the other flowers that can be found in this huge garden, tulips are likely to impress the most. There are many colors and shapes and they look quite a spectacle when you stroll through the park.
Definitely the Feel-Good-Flower!

Keukenhof is where you should be...
by Xinta
Keukenhof is one of the best place that I think anyone and everyone should go when visiting this country. Even though it's the largest garden in the world, your legs will never get tired as it is an awesome place and you'll never regret it. Visiting Keukenhof was the first thing that I did when I was in the Netherlands, and it gives such a wonderful memories. Since that day onwards, I planted a very good memory and impression of this country, that is the beauty that lies within this lil country.
The Lake

Now this is a cool place to relax (or take yet another stroll)!
The lake has some benches around it and also a pavilion to take a bite to eat, or have a break for a coffee.
Watch the world go by: floating art, ducks and swans in the water, birds wistling in the trees. A wonderful place in the park. And you can actualy walk on the water!
The Pavilions
by 36waterfalls
Keukenhof has 5 pavilions, all with Royal names: Wilhelmina, Juliana, Beatrix, Willem-Alexander and Oranje-Nassau. The Dutch Royal family has visited the park frequently.
The pavilions are used for temporarely exhibitions.
While I visited there were shows on potplants, gerberas and my favorite: orchids.
Each pavilion also houses a restaurant, restrooms and a souvenirshop.
Dutch Craft
by 36waterfalls
Souvenir shops galore at Keukenhof!
But one tiny square was pretty special: a dutch craftsman was showing how clogs were made. Behind him of course was yet another shop where you could buy them!
He had some naughty new models on show too...see next pic!
(who knows: us Dutch ladies might start wearing wooden heels one day!!!)
