Even the location on the highest dune, on the Noordwijk beach, is of a royal selection which the burgomaster Pické of Noordwijk made in 1883. The Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin opened its doors in 1885 ...
Ofcourse some royal members has stayed here and some other V I P names you may find between its guests.
So it is not a disclosure mentioning some fashion crews looked for this luxury location to shoot some important fashion photographs. I have worked here for the Harper's Bazar and we made some really beautiful reportages. I preferred the "beauty" photographs we shot here.
Unique Quality: There are some wonderful places to do hair and make-up, like in the beauty salon of MC Wellness of Huis ter Duin. It is a extremely luxurious combination of "beauty centre", "hairdressing saloon", "health centre" and even a "gift shop". So you may find all aspects of beauty & health!
There are 228 rooms, 22 suites and ... 4 penthouses! Amazing!
And the restaurant Latour has been rewarded with one Michelin star. Just try it and explore a culinary climax ...
Some more facilities: the Kids Club, the Bar Maritime, the Jazzclub, an indoor swimming pool with sauna, Turkish bath, ... and tennis courts.
Donot forget the amazing, beautiful views over the North Sea.

Noordwijk is full of hotels and smaller hostels/guest housing. 'Huis Ter Duin' is the biggest one (but probably also the most expensive). I haven't been there my self, but just had to put that picture there :)
Prices might be a little bit higher, because of the "tourist town", but I'm sure you'll find quite low-cost acommodation too.

Hope you guys can help me. How much is the taxi fare from airport in Amsterdam to Hotel Grand Huis ter Duin will approximately cost ? Hotel transfer is charging me euro 70.Is that expensive ? Also does the taxi in Amsterdam take credit card ? Thanks

A "normal" taxi will charge you at least:
-Start price € 3,10
- 25 x € 1,90 = €47,50
- 5 x € 1,40 = € 7,00
Total = € 58,60
This is a minimum, probably some waiting time (traffic jam) will be added.
I think the Hotel service is based on an average taxi fee.
Unfortunally the Schiphol hotel shuttle service is only servicing Amsterdam hotels.
The only other option is taking a train to Leiden and the last part by bus; total costs € 8,00

If you take the average of these three is about the same as I calculated.
