We spent a short break in September 2007 staying in the hotel's cheapest rooms (called de luxe!). Great corner room, well equiped with extremely comfortable bed. Bathroom only had a shower (no bath) but what a shower! - body jets and steam function. Underground car parking - essential if you have a car as no on street parking outside hotel - expensive at Euro 17.50 a night. Good breakfast with plenty of hot and cold choice. Comfortable lounge and outside terrace. Unfortunately the restaurant, while serving good food, is let down by lack of organisation in the kitchen. One night our main course arrive 1 hour 50 minutes after being ordered! Waiting staff while starting off the evening being very attentive, disappeared and left the restaurant apparently unstaffed for long periods - not what is expected in a restaurant in a 5 star hotel! We booked a package which included evening meals - what we did not know when we booked was that the evening meal was identical EVERY evening with no choice! We would recommend the hotel highly for accomodation but would strongly suggest guests eat out at some of the many other restaurants in Noordwijk.
The hotel is not on the sea front and I suspect not many rooms will have a sea view. Our standard (de luxe) was more than adequate and I could see little reason to upgrade to a superior room.
With the exception of restaurant staff (see above) all hotel staff were extremely helpful and could not do enough to assist.
