Location markers on the Beach of Rockanje

Big poles with pictures of animals and caracters on top.
Someone told me that they are there for location markers , so that children and adult can find the place where they have their spot on the Beach , that does make sense.

Here is a close up shot of a location marker .
I looks like they also use them for advertising .If you look in the background of the picture you see many of these tall white
energy creating windmills .
There are very many of these windmills all over the country.

Yes they do sell beer in Rockanje .

Rockanje a village in Voorne near the Dunes.

Rockanje is located on the far westside on the Island Voorne ,near the Northsea Beach.
Rockanje became part of the municipality Westvoorne in 1979.
Rockanje is on the south side of the '' Maasvlakte and Europoort ''
Europoort is a very industrial area.
Some of the best Dunes in the country are located here in Rockanje ,
The gentleman in the picture is L Goudswaard .(the name on the bench )

Here we are showing off again on the Beach in Rockanje ,
ATLC ,Anke Thea brought us here as part of the wonderful Tour that Anke Thea took us on this late september afternoon..
